Arabesk

JF09_08Alhambra_Löwenhof_mit_Löwenbrunnen_2014I’m wondering what folke Jansson though when he drew Arabesk. Maybe at the dance step or perhaps at the Nike of Samotracia. Otherwise at islamic art decorations; flowers and leaves stylized and calligraphic elements. He could be a fan of “Arabesque” the movie with Sophia Loren and Gregory Peck, taken from the novel “the Cypher”by Gordon Cotler. Certainly there is nothing most beautiful then a curve.
